How can I import my own artwork into templates?

Non-responsive interface?

This is likely because of the country you are in. Contact us at support@smashworkshop.com and we can send you a version that works in your country.

Final Cut Pro X shows a red screen?

Make sure you are running the most recent version of Final Cut Pro X as well as Apple Motion installed.

Why does my animation seem sped up?

If you match sequence settings to the Hand Painted type template, it will play at 3 frames x second. Solution to sped-up animation: Select “Keep existing settings” when importing our title templates.

What is the render speed like?

Our packs are all highly optimized and designed to work efficiently on a wide variety of computers.

Will it work with any font?

Yes! Our Premiere Pro 2019 versions will work with any font. If you use an older version of Premiere you can use the 10 hand selected google fonts.

How soon can I start using Smashworks Packs?

After purchasing, our packs can be up and running in a few minutes.

Currently Hand Painted works with Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

Will Hand Painted work in software besides Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X?

Not currently, but you can use pre-made assets rendered out of Final Cut or Premiere Pro in other software.

Will hand painted titles become available for Final Cut Pro X?

This is something we have looked into, but due to some limitations with Final Cut Pro X it currently isn't possible. If anything changes it is something we will consider.

I downloaded a pack. Why isn’t it working?

Check to make sure your operating system and software version up to date, then restart your computer. If this doesn't solve your problem send us a note at: support@smashworkshop.com

Should I buy a Regular or Commercial License?

The regular license is good for any personal projects, while the commercial license is good for any paid projects or company projects.

How long did it take to create Hand Painted?

The current version of Hand Painted took over 500 collective hours to create.
